Claire Douglass
Claire Douglass is a founder of The New Fundamentals, a strategic campaign, grassroots, grasstops, coalition building consulting firm based in DC. She has decades of experience winning federal, state and local issue campaigns, building diverse coalitions/partnerships, fundraising, and executing complex strategies across diverse constituencies and in multiple regions. She has led campaigns and advocacy at large national and international environmental NGOs. In those roles, she led teams to develop and execute winning federal and state campaigns.
She attributes her ability to win campaigns with her ability to build and scale people power from the grassroots on up with the tools, training programs, strategies, and resources to maximize their impact on an issue at all levels of government. She has led countless campaigns that transcended political parties ranging from clean cars bill, to stopping offshore drilling in the Atlantic Ocean, to promoting clean energy from wind and solar in red, blue and purple states
Claire lives with her husband and daughter in Washington DC. In her free time you can find her play pool at Bedrock Billiards in Adams Morgan.
